2015 FESTIVAL OF QUILTS HAS ENDED
Thank you to all who brought their quilts, to all who came to see them, and to all who worked so hard to make the show a success.
The show was seen by more than 500 people. There were 225 quilts of all sizes with special exhibits of storybook quilts, Quilts of Valor, Remember Me quilts, quilts from various guilds and quilts from Dearborn Historical Museum. Other highlights included needle-turn applique quilts from June North and a wonderful Bible quilt by Kathleen Mayo.
The salad luncheon was delicious and varied and the desserts yummy. The crafters' market offered a variety of handmade items for sale and select collectibles were offered up in a silent auction.
